Congress Is Preparing to Surrender American Sovereignty on the Eve of America’s 250th Anniversary
The United States Congress, on the very eve of the 250th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence from Great Britain, is preparing to formally diminish American independence and sovereignty through a proposed merger and long-term integration of executive functions throughout the government, coordinated by the Department of Defense.
Treacherous provisions in the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) mandate that the U.S. State Department, the U.S. Commerce Department, and the heads of other relevant Federal departments and agencies cooperate with their Israeli counterparts for the purpose of consolidating U.S. and Israeli military activities in order to align efforts and avoid duplication.
The greatest threat to American sovereignty rarely arrives wearing the uniform of a foreign army. It often arrives through the complacency, expediency, or poor judgment of elected officials who fail to recognize the long-term consequences of the powers they surrender.
Modern Americans have a weird (and abusive) love affair with the state.
Why Americans Won't Revolt
“America” was born of revolt and distrust of government. But many of us know that those running the US government have arguably threatened and trampled liberty beyond what the British crown did to colonists. The violations are bipartisan and span generations of presidencies. Even so, 1776 has not commenced again despite Thomas Jefferson’s well-known and enduringly popular opinion that “the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”
We (are not) “the people”
In the minds of many Americans, the Constitution that followed the paradigm-shifting American Revolution (and Articles of Confederation) keeps government in check. According to the civics education I and many others received in public school, if politicians step out of line, “the people” can vote them out. In doing so, we learn, they preserve the constitutional, representative system that protects liberties and secures the people’s sovereignty.
Unlike many other nations around the world, American national identity is deeply fused to the country’s system of government. Revolution may be central to the American sense of “self,” but so is the Constitution and accompanying belief that this document restrains government. With a Constitution, who needs a revolution? “We the people” can preserve freedom and keep corruption in check through government.

On June 20, 2025, New York Times Magazine published a heterofatalist article entitled “The Trouble With Wanting Men” by freelance writer Jean Garnett; as the New York Post observes, the article “has gone viral.” What exactly is the trouble, according to Garnett? Men themselves. The entire category of men or maleness. Indeed, Garnett writes,
the petulantly proud masculinist subcultures that have arisen” are not the men about whom “my friends and I are feeling bleak…. It’s the sweet, good ones. Dammit.” All men are the problem.
This problem is called women’s reality. Garnett explains,
If the experts say my romantic letdowns have some larger social significance, I am not going to argue. The men I want are not wanting me badly enough, not communicating with me clearly enough, not devoting themselves to me: All this certainly seems calamitous enough to warrant an “ism.” And if it is an “ism,” the problem cannot be me. It must be men, right? Men are what is rotten in the state of straightness
The article sexually bashes men, including their penises, in explicit terms. Meanwhile, women are victims, albeit ones who are incredibly and deliberately cruel. How cruel? The female friends describe a specific man who is anxious about dating as “the poor wittle fraidy-cat boo-boo,” all the while working themselves “into a frenzy of laughter over men’s inability to ‘man up’ and (expletive) us.” Would these friends similarly describe a woman who is anxious about dating? Of course not. It is difficult to convey how deeply they celebrate their extreme bitchiness toward men.
The Land of the Free got closed down a long time ago. Economic chaos. War. Inflation. Nobody knows what a woman is? Meanwhile, voters both left and right, continue to support more and more state power.

America has become an occupied nation.
Not by one invading army, but by many occupying powers: the police state, the surveillance state, the war state, the corporate state, the foreign influence machine, and a ruling class that treats the American people as little more than collateral damage in its pursuit of power, profit and control.
We have been policed, surveilled, taxed, indebted, manipulated, censored, tracked, searched, silenced and sold out.
Foreign powers are buying up our farmland, buying favor with the Trump family, weaseling their way into the White House, dictating national policy, and now—with the backing of the Trump administration and bipartisan support in Congress—one of America’s closest partners-in-crime may soon gain even greater access to U.S. intelligence and surveillance capabilities.
This is what we have come to.
We’re being sold to the highest bidders, and still nothing is being done to protect us.
Ordinary Americans are told there is not enough money to honor the government’s promises to them. Social Security’s retirement trust fund is now projected to run short in late 2032, at which point retirees could face an automatic 22 percent cut in scheduled benefits if Congress fails to act. Medicare’s hospital insurance fund is projected to run short the following year. Seniors, the disabled, working families and the poor are told to brace for sacrifice.
But there is always money for war.
There is always money for surveillance.
There is always money for police-state crackdowns, border militarization, private contractors, foreign aid, weapons systems, tax breaks for the wealthy, slush funds for political allies, and spectacles of imperial excess.

I know of nothing the Democrats aka Communists have done to benefit our country. The Communist Control Act of 1954 outlaws the Communist party, but no government has had the balls to enforce it.
