A 37-year-old man was shot dead in the street in Minneapolis yesterday by ICE “agents” after one of these “agents” took the man’s holstered pistol, which he was legally carrying. A slowed-down, high-resolution video can be viewed here.

It does not look good. In fact, it looks like a summary execution.

The man – Alex Pretti – can be seen backing away from the ICE “agents,” who pepper spray him and another person as they advance. These words are italicized to make an important point. Pretti appears to be trying to retreat and in many states, you can’t use lethal force against a person who is trying to get away from you. Not if you’re merely a citizen, that is.

It gets much worse.

The video shows a bunch of “agents” scrumming Pretti, who is wrestled to the ground. At this point, the video appears to show one of the “agents” taking Pretti’s legally holstered pistol, which he never pointed at anyone. Moments later, Pretti is shot dead by one of the “agents. ”

This ought to appall everyone but especially “conservatives” who are ardent about the right – and it is a right – to carry a pistol. The fact that one is carrying one ought not to be warrant to kill that someone. Especially when that someone hasn’t unholstered his legally carried pistol.

Some “conservatives” will defend the “agents” who executed Pretti – claiming he was “resisting.” Watching the video, it looks like he was trying to ward off a beating. The expectation seems to be – in some quarters – that we must go limp at the first barked command, fall to the ground and lie there, supinely. Anything less – and anything less immediate – constitutes “resisting” and a “threat” to the “safety” of the armed “agents” of the state.

At which point, they can just execute you.

If you carry a pistol – legally – you might want to think about what might happen to you. But that would never happen! “Conservatives” are law abiding! Well, what happens in the event you get “pulled over” for a petty traffic violation – or maybe you just happent o be out driving and are forced to stop for no reason at all, as at a “sobriety” checkpoint – and the AGW sees your holstered, legally carried pistol – and maybe shoots you dead, because he thought you might shoot him?

Never mind that you didn’t even unholster your legally possessed and carried pistol.

Can you see where this could easily be headed? Do you remember what Trump said? It is worth remembering: “Take the firearms first and then go to court . . . I like taking the guns early . . . take the guns first, go through due process second.”

Can you see Trump saying it again? Can’t have those deranged Leftists – or anyone else – walking around with firearms. Someone might get shot! Best to take the guns from those who might get shot.

For their safety, of course.

“Conservatives” – many of them – will chortle and say this is an example of “TDS.” Trump would never do such a thing. At least not to them. He would only do it to those “insurrectionist” Leftists.

The police state would never turn on “conservatives.”

Well, it appears the summary execution of Pretti might just provide the necessary pretexts. It is early as I type this – just a few hours after Pretti’s execution – but as the sun comes up on this bitterly cold Sunday morning, it is very likely there will be protests in MN. More violence is likely. This could result – and looks like it is going to result – in Trump declaring that there is an “insurrection” and that he must “act” to suppress it.

One “conservative” site that is reporting this – approvingly –  uses an image of Trump as Lincoln – both with incandescent glowing eyes and with murderous lightning bolts cracking around them. It is an apt analogy – though many “conservatives” don’t see it quite that way. More finely, they do not understand why it is apt.

Perhaps they ought to try.

Lincoln was the man who waged war on the American people – of the North as well as the South. People forget that Lincoln sent federal shock troops to New York City to quell draft riots – because men who lived in New York had no interest being sent to kill and die down South. Lincoln also laid siege to Maryland, to prevent it from seceding – i.e., to prevent its people from choosing their own form of government, as both the Declaration of Independence and natural law sanction. The same was done to the portion of Virginia that is now West Virginia. Lincoln also threatened to arrest a Supreme Court Justice – Roger Taney – for questioning the legality of Lincoln’s suspension of due process (habeas corpus).

Lincoln then waged a war of annihilation upon the Southern states, for resisting federal authority. It was  a full-scale Hut! Hut! Hutting! and it led to the creation of the very thing that “conservatives” used to pretend they did not like, that being an essentially omnipotent federal government. Now they seem to like it very much, because it is their man who is at the head of the thing.

One wonders how they’ll like it when the Hut! Hut! Hutting! comes to  them.

Of course, they think it won’t. They think it’ll just be those people over there – the ones they don’t like – who are on the receiving end of the Hut! Hut! Hutting!

There is a special place in Hell reserved for such fools. It is a stygian and mephitic place where Lee Greenwood’s soundtrack is played forever, at high volume, while a big red, white and blue dildo savages all their orifices, eternally.
